Sujet: Luke se voit contraint d'épouser Kristina afin de pouvoir financièrement finir ses études de médecine. Une fois devenu un praticien reconnu, il délaisse sa femme et la trompe. Quand il apprend qu'elle est enceinte, il tente de revenir a elle mais elle le rejette. Cependant, il tue accidentellement son ancien professeur lors d'une opération du coeur. Il rentre désespéré chez lui ou sa femme lui pardonne.
